12 Books of Christmas Giveaway

It is hard to believe that Christmas is just  around the corner.  I am teaming up with 11 other AMAZING bloggers to share some of our favorite Christmas and holiday books in a fun 12 Books of Christmas Blog Hop.

Along with ideas and FREEBIES for each book, the winner will get a copy of each book.  Make sure you read all the way to the end of this post to find out how to WIN!

My book is the Biggest Christmas Tree Ever by Steven Kroll.  It is about two mice that fall in love with the same Christmas tree.  They work together to find a solution to their problem.

I am sharing a story elements FREEBIE to go with the book.  I have my students cut it out and glue into their interactive notebooks.  I like to have my students write as much as possible.

I like to have my students write as much as possible.  Here is a FREE retelling flip journal to go with the story.

Thank you for stopping by!  Now it is time to collect my number and head on over to my dear friend, Allyson from Going Strong in 2nd Grade.

Each blogger will have a number at the end of their post.  Collect all the numbers along the way and add them up at the end of the blog hop.  Enter the total number into the rafflecopter below.

Thanksgiving in the Classroom

My students have been busy this week with making Thanksgiving crafts and testing.  My students did some writing on how to cook a turkey.  It was a fun FREEBIE that I got from Just a Primary Girl.  Click here to get the FREEBIE.

We did the Turkey Dance to get our wiggles out.

My students favorite project was making minions for Thanksgiving.  I bought this adorable craft from The Not so Common Classroom.  This craft includes 4 types of Minions.  We made the Turkey and Native American.  I didn't like the feathers, so I changed mine.

We played Three in a Row to help us learn our math facts.

At the end of the day, we decorated sugar cookies as a turkey.  We were running out of time, so I didn't get to take any pictures of the finished product.

Here is a little math review freebie for you to use with your students.  Click on the picture of the Thanksgiving math review for your FREE copy.
